Minute Men Staffing is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Wooster, OH
Now hiring a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company in Wooster.
Day Shift, Monday – Friday.
Weekly pay ranging between $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include, but are not limited to supporting operations by fulfilling work orders and performing preventative maintenance on various types of machinery, equipment, and the building facility.
Job Duties:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plants facility’s equipment.
- Primarily responsible for the production equipment including preventive and predictive maintenance machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve the processes related to the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work/repairs performed.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- HVAC experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understanding schematics and drawings.
- Welding experience is required.
