Project Manager II is a technical field manager role tasked with overseeing medium to large projects from initiation to completion meeting both budget and time constraints. This role requires effective communication and collaboration skills to mitigate uncertainty and serve as a liaison between customers and Minuteman personnel. A successful candidate for the Project Manager II will be able to contribute to company strategy by recognizing savings through vendor partnerships, strategic sourcing and/or design adjustments.

• Schedule, plan, coordinate and complete medium to large installation projects on time and within budget
• Coordinate and engage with all important stakeholders throughout the entire project; coordinate and communicate important milestones, schedule changes and impacts of changes
• Responsible for maintaining or exceeding EGM and ensuring overall success of projects.
• Understand scope of work; secure change order requests for out-of-scope items requested by customer or dictated by unforeseen field conditions
• Complete AIA schedule of values, AIA billing forms, lien waivers, and tax reporting documents
• Process and submit monthly AIA billing through AIA forms or GC Portals, i.e. PlanOn®, Textura®, Procore®, etc
• Coordinate construction bonding forms and requests
• Review construction contracts and notify management of any concerns such as liquidated damages or project risks

• Possess a valid state issued driver’s license and clean driving record
• A recognized project management credential such as PMP, CSPM is required within one year of start date
• 5-10 years direct industry experience, technical experience preferred
• Meet state qualifications alarm licensing and electronics security personnel as required
• Effectively use project management tools and basic office software such as Microsoft Excel®, Microsoft Word®, and Microsoft Outlook®.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding of installation methods, best practices, and procedures
• Good working knowledge and understanding of construction contracts
