Estimators work closely with many other professionals including contractors, accountants and operations personnel to provide the most accurate and comprehensive financial and budget analysis. This is an entry level position, and salaries are negotiable and based on experience starting at $45K. Hours are 8a-5p Monday-Friday.Will learn how to read blueprints, specifications, addenda, and other construction documents, perform accurate takeoff, procure pricing, review manufacturing quotes for accuracy and competitiveness communicate effectively with teammates, manufacturers, architects, and clients, and prepare client facing proposals.
Complete in-house training will be provided in order to ensure the candidate quickly becomes effective and confident in their abilities. Candidate must be detail oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication, problem solving and computer skills (including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Google, etc.). Candidate must have a student mindset during training (willing to soak up knowledge and follow specific processes and procedures).
