Server / Waitress / Waiters - Assisted Living

Mira Vie at Toms River is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Server, Waitress, or Waiter are the heart and soul of our community. In order to fit in with our culture, your core values should be consistent with ours in terms of service level.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Greets and informs residents of available menu selections.
• Takes orders from the residents and assists then with meal selections if requested.
• Presents the meals to residents in a friendly and pleasant manner.
• Always address residents by name and become knowledgeable of their likes and dislikes in food and beverages.
• Serves beverage of choice to each resident and maintain full glasses.
• Clears the table when residents are finished dining
• Cleans tables at the end of meal and sets the tables for next meal seating.
• Sweeps and Mops in dining room after each meal.
• Helps restock beverage station
• Reports to Director of Restaurant and Hospitality

Required Skills and Experience:

• Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with exceptional customer service skills.
• Previous experience in dining service desired, but not required.
• Knowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations helpful, but not required.
