Your Part in It:

MISA Imports is looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our growing organization. This position will administratively and operationally support the goals of MISA. As the HR Generalist, you will perform a variety of functions and will have exposure to many aspects of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and promotes office events for employee relations activities and programs
• Serves as first point of contact for employees
• Conducts full-cycle recruitment
• Organize inside and outside training opportunities for employees
• Conducts new hire onboarding and orientation
• Act as a backup for processing payroll
• Champions new ideas and initiatives that foster and support efficiencies, creativity and innovation within the organization
• All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent field
• 2 years of experience in Human Resources
• Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Experience with HRIS systems
