The Mishawaka Housing Authority is seeking a Full Time Custodian, classified as a Maintenance Technician II, to join our TEAM!

The Maintenance Technician II provides grounds maintenance and cleaning functions of the Mishawaka Housing Authority. .

The position will include knowledge/experience in:

• Provides all facets of building cleaning, both inside and outside.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and practices.
• Ensuring building repairs are completed in a timely manner to comply with safety standards
• Maintaining janitorial equipment
• Ordering new cleaning supplies
• Operating equipment like floor buffers and commercial vacuums
• Changing air filters
• Cleaning air vents Provides ground maintenance and snow removal.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pre-Employment drug screening and physical is required.
• Criminal background check shall be performed.
• Team player
