Job Summary:
The Porter at Mission Chevrolet in El Paso, Texas is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the dealership, dealership lot, and service areas. The Porter will also assist the service department with various tasks to ensure efficient operations. This full-time position is salaried and falls under the category of technician/skilled labor/contractor in the auto industry.

Responsibilities:
• Keep the dealership lot and showroom clean and organized at all times.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the service area, including the customer waiting area, bathrooms, and service bays.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on dealership vehicles, such as checking and filling fluids and changing tires.
• Assist with moving vehicles to and from the service department as needed.
• Assist the service department with various tasks, such as retrieving parts, delivering vehicles to customers, and transporting vehicles to other dealerships or service centers.
• Keep track of dealership supplies and inform management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a similar role in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, such as tires and automotive parts.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
