Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist in providing high-quality dental care to patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent patient care skills.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Manage inventory of dental supplies

Experience:

- Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical records management
- Proficiency in Dentrix or Eaglesoft software
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Understanding of dental terminology
- Experience with medical coding is a plus
- Ability to assist with dental receptionist duties
