The Physical Therapy Aide is crucial component of our physical therapy team by helping physical therapists present quality care to their patients. The Aide is responsible for assisting with physical therapy modalities and assisting with exercises under the guidance of Physical Therapist.

Physical Therapy Aide Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare for upcoming therapy sessions by establishing the treatment areas based on the patient’s requirements
• Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
• Observe the patient’s during therapy sessions and reports any difficulties the patient has to Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant
• Directs, prompt, protect, and support patients’ exercises and functional activities under the guidance of therapist
• Maintain equipment and furniture to keep it in good working condition.
• Maintains inventory of treatment supplies
• Schedules patients for therapy appointments
• Verification of insurances and obtains prior authorization for physical therapy sessions.
• Other administrative duties as assigned

This position is Monday-Friday and hours will very depending on clinics schedule, usual hours are 7:30-6:00 PM. We are flexible with school schedules.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
