Our client, a top private equity firm in New York, NY, is seeking a Credit Operations Associate to join their growing team. This individual will play a crucial role in handling credit and bank debt activities, including structured credit, loans, and asset-backed securities (ABS). This role is focused on hands-on processing tasks such as reconciliations and life-cycle management of loans and securities. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of loan operations experience from an investment management firm. Experience with WSO / ClearPar is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed reconciliations of credit and bank debt transactions
- Manage the life cycle of loans and securities, ensuring accuracy in all processing stages
- Engage in hands-on tasks related to structured credit, loans, and ABS
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and enhance processing efficiency
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in credit and bank debt, including structured credit, loans, and ABS
- Hands-on experience with reconciliations and life-cycle management of loans and securities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools relevant to credit and debt processing
- Knowledge of Geneva is needed
