Our client, a leading global media firm headquartered in New York, NY, seeks a Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will undertake monthly reconciliations, manage weekly and monthly payroll processes, and serve as a reliable backup for cash management. Moreover, they will assist in compiling information for ad hoc requests and bank documentation. Candidates should possess at least two years of accounting experience within a corporate environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Oversight of accounts receivable, including the monitoring and collection of interest and rent payments.
• Collaboration in ADP payroll processing for a select number of employees, including the monthly distribution of reports via email.
• Preparation of weekly cash and credit card reports.
• Establishment of wire templates for routine payments.
• Maintenance of asset ledgers and supporting schedules, encompassing capital improvements, fine arts, and valuable assets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a staff or corporate accounting role.
• Proficiency in reconciliation skills, particularly within Accounting software; familiarity with Archway is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, coupled with a general understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite.
