Boutique Hedge Fund in CT looking to hire Assistant Controller / Controller!

Looking for someone with strong leadership and managerial skills that is looking to oversee a small team and play an integral role in continuing to grow the firm!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee fund NAV prep process
• Oversee small team of accountants and fund administrator
• Support transaction and deal activity
• Oversee financial statement prep, tax prep, reg reporting
• Work with the CFO and other senior leaders across the company on accounting and financial reporting matters
• Support strategic initiatives
• Oversee cash and treasury management, work closely with the ops team
• Focus on streamlining financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting and complex partner income allocations
• Drive implementation of new processes, increase operational efficiencies, help to automate processes
