Our client, a global investment bank in New York, NY is seeking an IT SOX Consultant to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations related to IT general and relevant IT application controls. This role involves collaborating with technology teams, internal audit, and external auditors to define the scope of SOX IT testing, manage testing schedules, and ensure clear and appropriate IT control evidence. The ideal candidate will come with 10 years of SOX testing coming from another investment bank.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- 10 years of IT SOX experience from an investment bank
- Proven experience in IT SOX compliance, IT audit, or a similar role within a financial institution
- Strong understanding of SOX regulations and IT general controls
