This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Job DescriptionThis is a contingent requistion to support the proposal requirements. HII is seeking a Calibration Technician for a USG customer in the Northern Virginia area.
- This role is contingent upon being awarded the contract.
Minimum Qualifications
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
- Experience with coordinating calibration activities with internal government groups and outside vendors
- History of performing equipment testing and validation
- Experience coordinating testing equipment training
- Demonstrated experience of interfacing with a wide range of vendors
- Technical background in engineering or manufacturing
- Experience working with hardware-oriented vendors of electronic and mechanical components, manufacturing and assembly shops, and other equipment
- Creativity to address non-standard problem sets
- Ability to operate independently and at a fast-pace
