MissionStaff is Hiring an UX Designer Near Reading, PA

Job Summary: As a Mid-Level UX Designer specializing in data visualization, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and implementing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that leverage data to deliver actionable insights to our users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data sets into compelling visualizations and ensure seamless user experiences across products.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and business objectives.
  • Design and prototype user interfaces using tools such as Figma, ensuring consistency and usability across all platforms.
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to transform complex data sets into intuitive and visually compelling dashboards and reports.
  • Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Work closely with data analysts to identify key metrics and develop visualizations that effectively communicate data-driven insights.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and data analytics to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide support during the development process.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in UX design, data visualization, and related technologies.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a UX Designer with a focus on data visualization.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience conducting user research, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant work samples demonstrating proficiency in data visualization and UX design.
