The AssistantGeneral Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effectiveoperation of the hotel while delivering exceptional guest experience. Assistingthe General Manager with overseeing daily hotel operations, supervising staff,and assisting in various administrative and managerial tasks. Specifically,you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:
•Supportthe General Manager in daily hotel operations and assist the operational andfinancial management of Food & Beverage and Rooms Division
•Manageperformance for operations department heads and formally hold accountable whenperformance expectations are not being consistently met.
•Ensurehotel is in compliance with all brand standards and perform periodic qualityassurance audits.
•Overseeoperations departments; Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Housekeeping andFront Office.
•Reviewfinancial statements and other performance data to measure productivity andgoal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and programimprovement.
•Conductoperations meetings, ensure staffing levels and department operations supportbusiness needs.
•Solicitfeedback for continuous improvement and implement career paths to developmanagers, supervisors and line level staff.
•Assistwith addressing and resolving employee relation issues.
•Supportwith resolving guest related complaints.
•Reviewand respond to guest survey feedback and assist operations managers withimplementing action steps to increase guest survey scores and minimizereoccurring guest related issues.
•Performall operational property duties in the absence of the General Manager
Whatare we looking for?
An Assistant General Manager is always working on behalf ofour Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role,you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
•At least three (3) years experienceas a hotel Director of Food and Beverage, Assistant General Manager or GeneralManager in full-service hotel preferred.
•Previous rooms division managementexperience.
•Excellent communication skills, bothwritten and verbal.
•Strong interpersonal andproblem-solving abilities to anticipate, identify, prevent and solve guest andemployee related issues.
•Hilton/OnQ experience highlypreferred.
•Flexible availability to workevenings, holidays and weekends.
