Job Overview:

Security and Safety Management: Establishes and enforces security procedures to protect members, guests, and staff, overseeing parking lot operations, and ensuring safety protocols like traffic control, first aid, and emergency response procedures are followed.

Staff Supervision and Training: Interviews, hires, schedules, and supervises security personnel, including contracted staff, while working with the Training Specialist to ensure training in first aid, fire protection, and other security practices.

Incident Response and Reporting: Responds to calls for service, manages incidents, investigates occurrences on club premises, cooperates with law enforcement, and creates detailed reports on security incidents, accidents, and violations.

Budget and Operational Planning: Develops and monitors the security department's budget, assists with capital improvements, and makes recommendations for new technologies while ensuring smooth daily operations and personnel management.

Collaboration and Compliance: Works with HR on security clearances, employee investigations, and maintaining positive relationships with local authorities, while ensuring compliance with club rules and industry standards.
- Member Relations: Develops member engagement strategies and fosters a positive work environment for staff, members, and guests.
Director of Security Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related major preferred.
- Several years of experience in security roles required, including at least five years of management
- Critical thinking, strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and leadership skills are needed.
