Loan Support Specialist assist members and staff with their Indirect loan and service-related requests by providing clerical, administrative and functional support.

Responsibilities:

• Provides processing support for dealer services and loan department.
• Files loan documents with the appropriate agencies.
• Answers member phone calls.
• Identifies and takes action to improve the group’s operating methods and procedures.
• Produce loan documents, reports, and new accounts with no unresolved errors according to established department standards.
• Prepare files for funding.
• Provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates by responding to email, answering telephone and replying to messages.
• Complete, organize and close loan documentation files.
• Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union loan standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Oral and written communication skills
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy skills
• Ability to use various types of technology
• Strong level of knowledge in regard to consumer lending, loan underwriting, loan documentation and funding practices
• Positive attitude that promotes a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
