Missouri Heart Center is accepting applications for a full-time, registered Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer for our Mexico, MO office.

Responsibilities
- Performs cardiac and vascular sonography procedures using specialized equipment to capture images of patients' hearts and blood vessels.
- Utilizes knowledge of ultrasound principles, telemetry, and medical terminology to accurately assess and diagnose cardiovascular conditions.

-Provides education to patients regarding equipment, techniques, and procedures to optimize patient care.

-Actively participates in IAC accreditation meetings, quality improvement programs, and other tasks as determined by the medical director.
- Maintains BLS Certification and adheres to professional standards as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

All applicants must become registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent within one year of employment. Two years of previous echocardiography and vascular ultrasound experience is recommended, however, new graduates are welcome to apply.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. No holidays, no weekends.
