This position is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the staff, visitors and the collections at all Society properties. The Officer will stand posts, screen access, patrol, monitor activity, have courteous and professional interaction with Museum visitors and deter and/or interdict criminal activity according to Missouri Historical Society's policy and the St. Louis County Police Private Security Section.
