At the Missouri Historical Society, we are always looking to strengthen the organization by adding the best available people to our staff. We're seeking a Talent Administrator to help us source, identify, and hire candidates for various roles in the organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two or three years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.

Position Summary:

The Talent Administrator performs administrative duties related to the operations of the human resources department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to executing end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates, develop and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants, source applicants through online channels, EEO and labor law compliance reporting, organizing training sessions and events, updating the organization handbook policies. The Talent Administrator supports and maintains the HR modules in the organization's HRIS, (Paycom). The position also oversees and maintains best function of the ATS (AAIMTrack).

Essential Functions:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries and email correspondences
  • Manage all internal and external job posting openings
  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process for new talent, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition into the organization
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
  • Administer new hire profiles and I-9 verification in HRIS system (Paycom)
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation programs
  • Train hiring managers on utilization of applicant tracking system, (AAIMTrack)
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting practices that align with organization goals and workforce requirements
  • Promote organization brand to attract and retain high-quality candidates in a tight labor market
  • Maintain staff records of all related materials used for employment
  • Plan and implement special occasion staff events
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field; preferred
  • Two or three years of experience working with talent acquisition or recruitment
  • Broad knowledge of labor laws and practices required

  • Proficient in talent acquisition methods and sourcing techniques to attract top talent
  • Decision-making ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and trends
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
