About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Public Accountant to join our team. This role involves overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or Master's preferred) and at least 3 years of experience in a public company or accounting firm. A solid understanding of SEC, GAAP, and SOX compliance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Ensure adherence to SOX and other regulatory requirements.
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Develop and monitor internal controls and support audit processes.
Collaborate with teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Maintain financial systems proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
3 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of SEC, GAAP, and SOX compliance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information.
