Basel 3 Business Data Analyst - Banking - W2 Only

The successful candidate will define the end-to-end requirements to support the target business process within Treasury.

Knowledge of Risk management concepts & capital requirements (Counterparty Credit, market, operational, liquidity, RWA & Basel capital ratios )

Experience working on reporting space either on finance or risk data (preferable)

Knowledge of financial products (FX, Equities, Futures, vanilla options, swaps, mortgage products) (nice to have)

Required Technical Skills:

10 years' experience with at least 3 years' experience as a Business Data Analyst

MUST have expert level skills with Basel 3 / Basel III

Delivery focused techno-functional role.

Basel III / Pillar 3 / European Banks / Foreign Banks would be Preferred

Experience in SQL, Oracle/PL, Python, ETL/Informatica

Excel and SQL querying skills (must have with a rating 7 and above)

Deep understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk or Capital calculations

Understanding of regulations within the Capital Markets space (Basel, CRR, CRD IV etc.)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Deep understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk or Capital calculations

Proven ability to balance business demands of different stakeholders and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility

Experience building high-performance, enterprise applications at scale.

Excel and SQL querying skills (must have with a rating 7 and above)

Tableau, Qlik & Alteryx ( overview and some working knowledge of any BI tools) (preferable)

Experience working with and analyzing large(above 100k records) data sets (preferable)

Python, R etc. (if we are looking for data analyst though I am not an expert at this) (nice to have)

Knowledge of any programming language (nice to have)

Preferably worked on banking applications in finance, risk, treasury or core banking space (nice to have
