One of our client, a non-profit, multi service agency with a flagship site in Bronx, NY is seeking for an Program Director Bronx SS
Type: Perm
Location: Bronx, NY
Job Responsibilities:Program Directors to ensure that all program monthly occupancy rates are maintained at 95%.
Supervise and coordinate the development and implementation of new scatter site units in geographic areas with limited HIV/AIDS supportive housing units and/or in areas with high incidences of HIV/AIDS.
Ensure that as a practice all HASA referrals are approved and secure housing within a maximum of 30 days.
Oversee the implementation of staff trainings on an annual basis to increase their qualifications, knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS, mental illness and substance abuse; increase staff sensitivity towards working with and providing services to persons who are living with HIV/AIDS.
Ensure timely completion of program progress reports including demographic census, services rendered, problems, and plans. Provide oversight in conducting an annual Client Satisfaction
Survey and provide surveys to HRA if requested.
Provide direction to Assistant Program Directors regarding individual client cases such as consumer goals of recovery, rehabilitation, economic independence, stability and community integration. Conduct individual supervision meetings with Assistant Program Directors.
Meet with the HRA for conferences and planning purposes for better cooperative working agreements.
Meet with the Senior Director of Program Administration detailing accomplishments and/or problems of each program.
Oversee the coordination of HIV/AIDS services with community services such as inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and day treatment, to close gaps in the continuum of services
Assist the Senior Director of Program Administration or designee with special projects, analyze, research, and prepare reports as required. Perform other duties as required
Job Qualifications:Valid NYS LCSW-R, LCSW, LMSW licensure required; five (5) to seven (7) years of administrative experience in successfully supervising the operations of Scatter Site Housing Programs; Five or more years experience in providing direct services related to the treatment and recovery of persons living with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse and serious mental illness.
Bilingual-Spanish preferred.
HIV/AIDS advanced training a plus.
Valid NYS LCSW-R, LCSW, LMSW licensure. CASAC a plus.
Physical Demands Non-physical.Working Conditions Home visits and field work as needed.
General office environment.
