Our client is currently seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join the team. The ideal candidate will have solid Federal and multi-state tax preparation experience. This candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing complex tax returns (HNW), as well as, compiling supporting financial statements and reviewing and/or preparing bookkeeping services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare and file complex tax returns on behalf of clients
· Compile supporting financial statements and documents
· Assist with federal and state tax audits
· Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes
· Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Master's degree or CPA is a plus
· Tax preparation experience (3 years)
· Experience with bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently
