Pay Range: $29.58 hour

A Service Technician II job in Boise, ID is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. You will perform warranty and non-warranty repairs at customer’s homes throughout a specific geographic region. You must be able to diagnose customer’s issues and determine if a situation is a warranty item or not and appropriately explain the circumstances to the supervisor. This is a first-shift job and hours are normally from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Service Technician job responsibilities include:

• Performing warranty and non-warranty repairs at customer’s homes by adjusting components, replacing parts and pieces, performing water tests, taking measurements, and documenting all worked performed.
• Responsible for driving to locations as directed by pre-set appointments according to territory assigned.
• Responsible for driving to locations as directed by pre-set appointments according to territory assigned.
• Responsible for requisitioning parts from internal supplier necessary to perform field work.
• Responsible for reviewing work orders for accuracy.

• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.

Qualifications:

•  Prior glass or window experience is desirable but not required; however, technical or mechanical ability is preferred
•  You must have prior construction experience
•  Clean Department of Motor Vehicle record
•  Ability to lift 50 lbs. daily and climb up a ladder up to 40 ft.
