Role Overview: The Senior HR Generalist is a versatile professional responsible for managing various aspects of human resources and corporate general & administrative functions within the organization. They play a crucial role in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy implementation. Responsibilities and duties will be varied and will include:

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and attract industry-leading talent.

  • Manage recruitment efforts, including drafting job descriptions, advertising job openings and actively seeking qualified candidates, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and verifying candidate qualifications.

Personnel Onboarding and Training & Development: Take ownership of the onboarding and orientation process for new staff members.

  • Educate staff about company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Develop & implement personnel training and development programs to promote organizational growth objectives.

Payroll, Benefits & Bonus Program Administration: Manage payroll, bonuses, commissions, payroll taxes, and benefits administration utilizing company systems & processes.

Process payroll timely, accurately and efficiently, collaborating with finance and accounting teams as necessary.

  • Administer company benefits programs, including insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Conduct employee benefit meetings and address inquiries. Research and resolve payroll & benefits related questions or concerns.
  • Manage federal & multi-state payroll tax registration, compliance, remittance, reporting and administration.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and administer effective, measurable, results-driven, performance-based incentive compensation programs according to company objectives.
  • Timely & accurately calculate and bonus & commission payouts based on performance metrics or company policies.
  • Clearly & effectively communicate bonus program eligibility, structure, terms, and achievement to both personnel and to management.

Employee Relations and Support: Address employee queries related to leaves, compensation, and employment matters.

  • Actively promote a positive and safe work environment. Resolve conflict and issues as they arise.

Policy Development, Implementation & Compliance: Provided support to leadership team in executing HR processes and policies, complying with labor laws, and developing and implementing HR programs.

  • Proactively assess, recommend, and implement process, system & platform enhancements.
  • Clear, effective, and timely communicative processes and policies to all relevant stakeholders.

Performance Management: Collaborate with leadership to manage and administer performance reviews and evaluations.

  • Assist with establishing progressive discipline polices and evaluation performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and optimize staff performance.
  • Make informed recommendations to management based on industry standards.

General & Administrative Duties: Gather, analyze and report HR & personnel related data & metrics.

  • Maintain complete and accurate employee and company HR records.
  • Assist with providing general & administrative support to the organization, including facilities management, platform & system admin management, and general corporate administration.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ work experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field. Human Resources certification(s) strongly preferred, such as: SHRM-CP/SCP, HRCI-PHR/SPHR, CIPD-Level 5 .
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of employment & labor laws/regulations, and HR principles/best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain sensitive & confidential information.
  • Highly motivated, proactive & self-directed. Successfully demonstrated independent problem solving and decision-making skills. Demonstrated comfort and experience in high growth, fast paced business environment.
  • System administrator-level HR enterprise resource planning (ERP) software experience required. System implementation experience preferred.
