MITRE’s Enterprise Communications team is looking for an experienced Marketing Communications leader who is a whiz at supporting marketing and communications campaigns. We are looking for someone with a passion for storytelling, aligned with business strategy and industry acumen, to help us share how we make meaningful impacts with our sponsors and in our communities. We need someone who can quickly learn our business model and help with the execution of integrated communications plans that are aligned to strategic business priorities and outcomes while also promoting the MITRE brand.
While this person will specialize in promoting MITRE’s AI capabilities and thought leadership, they will be brought into other business areas as needed.
To be successful in this role, this individual will need to be a self-starter and super collaborator across all of MITRE’s Enterprise Communications team. Previous experience in B2B and / or B2G tech marketing is necessary with a focus on AI highly coveted.
They will need to be a strong writer and editor who can support content production for different delivery channels and who understands best practices in digital marketing tactics. They will also need to have exceptional experience in program and/or project management, including management of diverse stakeholders, and excel at taking ownership of campaign timelines and deliverables.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues across Enterprise Communications to execute strategic marketing and communications plans that support cross-cutting initiatives and high-priority topics.
• Use digital marketing and social media platforms to manage, support, and measure outreach campaigns.
• Partner with our technical and domain experts to collect, curate, and create thought leadership content including articles, social media posts, videos, case studies, white papers, webinars, podcasts, and other forms of dynamic content.
• Use data-driven insights by analyzing content marketing metrics to suggest campaign changes and develop more effective assets.
• Support strategic events that showcase MITRE innovations, capabilities, and thought leadership.

Job Description:The Enterprise Classified Services Department is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of IT systems in a Classified lab environment. This is a role best suited for someone who has prior experience working as a classified IT Systems Administrator. This is an on-premises position on our Bedford, MA campus. The successful candidate will have experience in:

• Building and hardening Windows, Linux, Hypervisor systems, such a VMware
• Patching and updating Windows and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) server and desktop operating systems.
• Updating anti-virus software definitions for Windows/Linux server and workstation
• User maintenance activities on both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Perform general systems administration (patching, updates, user support) of:
• Windows & Linux desktops and servers
• Network switches.
• VMware ESXi, vCenter platforms
• Network Storage Systems
• Maintenance of other systems/services according to project needs (SIEMs, Gitlab, Prometheus/Grafana and other monitoring tools, miscellaneous web servers, etc.,)

Basic Qualifications:

• SECRET-level clearance
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
• Working knowledge of server and client operating systems. (Win10, Srv2016 , RHEL, Ubuntu Linux)
• Fundamental understanding of lab IT architecture
• Fundamental understanding of system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques.
• Fundamental understanding of operating system command-line tools.
• Ability to interface with customers and provide a high level of customer service.
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Security Certification / 8570 Certification – IAT Level II
• Must earn certification within 6-months of hire date.
• DoD Top Secret Clearance (will accept Secret)
• Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages (Chef, Ansible, Powershell, Bash, Python, etc.)
