Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Savannah, Georgia is looking for a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager.
SUMMARY
Provide leadership and management for all continuous improvement programs and projects for factory and support teams. Implement process improvements using effective planning practices through the application of Lean Manufacturing and standard industrial engineering tools. Oversee the management of Power BI reporting, the creation of Power Apps, and all improvement efforts within the shop to support data-driven decision-making and process automation. Motivate and gain consensus among team members to achieve common goals and demonstrate a strong customer service focus.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) a four-year college or university; or at least six (6) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience leading Lean Transformations in manufacturing operations, educating others on Lean principles and deployment planning.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of database software; project management software; spreadsheet software and word processing software; electronic mail; graphics; technical diagrams; flow charts,
etc.
