Description
SUMMARY
Assist in manage operations for Mizner Kids Center, help with planning of all social events for Mizner Kids, and assist in Club communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist with managing all day-to-day operation of Mizner Kids Center
• Assist with train and supervise all personnel assigned to Mizner Kids
• Competently supervise and entertain large groups of children of various ages
• Assist with planning, scheduling, set up, host, and oversee all social events for Mizner Kids
• Promote upcoming events in print, in person, and by telephone and/or email
• Coordinate with the Family Activities Manager and Kids Supervisor as needed
• Covering supervising of Kids facility in the absence of Kids supervisor
• Assist in creating and distributing flyers and other communications for all Club events and activities
• Maintain an excellent professional relationship with members and their children
• Deal with and inform supervisor/manager of any issues that may arise in a competent and patient manner
• Oversee facilities to maintain a safe environment for children and staff members
• Ensure that all applicable daily reports are completed correctly
• Supervise and assist children at events involving Mizner Kids
• Keep children entertained with play, reading, toys, arts & crafts
• Change diapers, provide snacks, and clean messes as necessary
• Maintain constant supervision of, and interaction with, children in the facility
• All other duties as assigned by the Fitness & Family Activities Manager / Youth Activities Supervisor

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. A sharp eye for possible safety issues and the ability to intervene swiftly and successfully.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employees will need to be able to carry young children without difficulty, bend to assist children and clean up messes, and must possess an energy level sufficient to maintain supervision and interaction with children for extended periods of time. Setting up and hosting events may require additional physical demands, including moderate to heavy lifting (moving tables and chairs or other similar duties).
