MKD Kitchen and Bath is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Livonia, MI
We are seeking a Sales Manager with experience leading an in-home sales team in the home improvment space. Our sales team consists of Design Consultants throughout Michigan and Northern Ohio with a heavy concentration of them being located in SE Michigan. The Sales Manager will spend a lot of time on the road shadowing and training our dedicated in-home sales team.
What The Position is About:
- Oversee a team of 7 Design Consultants to achieve sales targets and increase revenue
- Recruit, hire, and train the Design Consultants (looking to grow the team to 10-12 Designers by the end of the year)
- Coach, mentor and motivate the sales team
- Conduct check-ins and ride-alongs with the Design Consultants
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and customer base
- Monitor sales metrics and performance, and provide regular feedback to the sales team
- Lead weekly sales meetings
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- Strong sales management experience within the home improvement industry is required
- Proven track record of scaling a sales team to $10M is required
- Design experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding & experience with the one-call-close, in-home sales process
Schedule:
- Full-time position, requiring management of your team's availability for 5-6 days a week
- Flexibility to support morning, day, and night appointments, scheduled between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Coordination of team schedules to ensure coverage on Saturdays every other weekend, with alternating weekends off
