Role Description: Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in human resources, capable of driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and leadership development. This role will oversee all HR functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture.

Operational Leadership & Workplace Improvement Initiatives

- Develop and implement HR policies that align with short- and long-term business goals.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive HR initiatives that enhance workplace culture and organizational effectiveness.

- Monitor industry trends and leverage HR best practices to improve employee engagement and performance.

- Utilize technology to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency.

Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning

- Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.

- Develop workforce planning strategies to align with business growth needs.

- Foster a strong employer brand by implementing creative employee benefits and engagement programs.

Training and Development

- Design and oversee professional development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

- Implement leadership development initiatives to build a strong internal talent pipeline.

- Provide coaching and mentorship to HR team members, strengthening their skills and capabilities.

Employee Relations and Engagement

- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.

- Manage conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and regulations.

- Drive performance management initiatives with innovative approaches.

Compliance and Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

- Proactively address legal and regulatory challenges to mitigate risk.

- Oversee reporting processes to ensure proper documentation of workplace incidents.

Compensation and Benefits

- Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.

- Conduct market analyses to ensure equitable pay structures and regulatory compliance.

- Manage annual performance reviews, salary adjustments, and incentive programs.

HR Operations and Metrics

- Optimize HR systems and technology to enhance operational efficiency.

- Develop and analyze key HR metrics to track performance and identify improvement areas.

- Prepare and present HR reports to executive leadership, demonstrating the impact of HR initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

- 8 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.

- Experience in the hospitality or retail industry is a plus.

- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
