You will be working with colleagues from all over the world, iterating and collaborating with designers, engineers, delivery teams, and strategy consultants.

About the role: 
We are now hiring for a Technical Product Manager role within our Experience practice, based in Colombia (remote or office). Our Product Managers work alongside clients within a cross-functional team to uncover and understand customer and business needs and translate them into requirements that can be fully understood, developed and delivered. Our clients depend on the Product Manager to develop product roadmaps that yield better, faster, and more innovative outcomes to solving their business problems and addressing customer needs.

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) plays a key role in overseeing and driving the success of various technical projects, with an immediate focus on a significant migration and integration project. The primary responsibility of the TPM is to gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

Here's what you'll be doing: 

  • Gather business requirements from client stakeholders and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations to ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • Collaborate with development team leads to come up with time estimates for work to be done, dependencies, and difficulty of work.
  • Work with all stakeholders to assess and address technical risks and make tradeoff decisions regarding competing priorities.
  • Facilitate prioritization exercises to gain alignment on what gets built and when.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
  • Understand and analyze data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems.
  • Explore new ways of improving existing services and products.
  • Identify and present innovative product solutions.
  • Work within a software development methodology like Agile/SCRUM.
  • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the broader community.
  • Help design and coordinate UAT and beta tests.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and run reports in analytics tools to derive product insights.
  • Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  • Manage the product backlog and work to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle.
  • Stay on top of technological advancement in order to optimize product value creation.
  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general.
