ML Transportation, an asset-based Transportation Company located in Watsontown, Pa. In business since 1975, Moran Logistics operates warehouses in Central PA, supported by a company Fleet in both Watsontown and Mechanicsburg, Pa. The Transportation department is growing and is in need of a talented individual that will be willing and enjoys functioning as a driver, dispatcher, or whatever is needed to support the operations.

Position Summary:

The Driver Dispatcher will be an integral member of the Transportation Team in Watsontown. Reporting directly to the Fleet Operations Manager, the Driver Dispatcher will assist with the following:

Roughly 75% of time on duty will be spent as a driver and field supervisor for our local shuttle operation.

The remaining time the driver Dispatcher will assist the Fleet Operations Manager and or cover dispatch Operations in his absence.

On-call responsibilities will be shared with the Fleet operations managers

As the Transportation Department grows, so does the ability of this individual to grow with expanded responsibilities.

Required Experience, skills and abilities:

• Class A CDL required with a minimum of 5 years driving experience
• Two plus years of Dispatch and or supervisory role for a fleet operation
• Ability to operate web based dispatch and GPS systems
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
• Ability to interact with customers and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Supervisory Experience:
• May directly supervise 0-20 CDL drivers
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
• Ability to interact, train and mentor existing and new hires

License and Physical Requirements:

• A valid Class A CDL License with a history of good driving record
• Must be able to lift and or move up to 60 lbs routinely, climb, step up sit stand or walk as associated with Transportation and Warehouse operations
