Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical - Full Time

Essential Functions:

• Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly (Nights)
• Assess the needs of assigned patients by gathering data through history-taking, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic information
• Develop individualized nursing care plans to address the holistic and age-specific needs of patients
• Provide nursing interventions aligned with the Plan of Care and standards of practice, incorporating Physician-prescribed medical care plans
• Conduct Hourly Rounds using service excellence standards to ensure patient care and satisfaction
• Promote an environment of caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff
• Follow standard procedures in the care of central lines, Foley catheters, pressure ulcers, ventilators (if applicable), restraints, and patients at risk for falls
• Contribute to the department's efficiency by serving as Charge Nurse when assigned, requiring advanced resuscitative certification relevant to the patient population

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Qualifications/Training:

• Up to 1 year of related work experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in South Carolina.

Shift Differential:

• Evenings: $1.25/hr (3p-11p)
• Nights: $6.00/hr (11p-7a)
• Weekends: $4.00/hr (Friday, 3p - Monday, 7a)
