3-5 years Infrastructure Security Analyst or Engineering
Understands security policies, processes & standards including NIST and/or other frameworks
Able to handle/coordinate project dynamics, delegate tasks, drive initiatives, etc. across different related security and infrastructure domains, PM skills required
Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate to customers and team members, being an infrastructure security evangelist
Familiar w/ Firewalls, VPN, NAT, DNS, and/or LAN Networking
Familiar w/Microsoft technologies including Desktop/Server DNS, Security controls, etc.
Security/Network admin with top vendor security products (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.
Familiar w/ CLI configuration, troubleshooting at the Level 1 - 2 performing implementations, troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance, moves/adds/changes
Exposure to troubleshooting tools including Splunk and/or Solarwinds, Wireshark, etc.
Understands Change Management processes, follows config standards for configuration of hardware, documentation, and physical installation
Good comm skills, handle priority driven schedules & pressure, sense of urgency, deliverables oriented, reliable
Able to walk distances within manufacturing floors
Preferred
Familiar w/Manufacturing environment, OT (Operations Technology) infra Security systems and processes
Infrastructure Security Certs such as Security , CySA , CCST, CCENT, CCNA Security, CCSP, etc.
Working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
ITIL, Security or other Wireless certifications beneficial
Key Job Duties
Work onsite within manufacturing plants
Evangelize OT security principles, best practices and standards, processes to extended team
Assist team with IT/OT security compliance, testing best practices, coaching engineers
Assist with Security compliance within the LAN/WAN environment and new projects across connectivity, troubleshooting (routers, firewalls, security, etc.), etc.
Assist with escalated security related support issues – WAN, LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, and remote access solutions as well as Microsoft technologies
Able to discuss and brainstorm security related initiatives related to all key IT and OT related technologies including: Internal and cloud infrastructure, servers, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft, VPN, Terminal Services, etc.
Able to provide best practices related to Remote monitoring/management of system alerts and notifications
Assist with network assessments, security audits and new client consultations.
Assist with best practices related to remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review.
Document security related events, processes, standards, change requests, etc.
Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
Be available for other engineers and coach them to resolution.
Lead and train technical resources as needed
Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to resolving complex problems and assignments
