Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our systems manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will meticulously organize and prepare material kits for various aerospace components and assemblies. The role demands precision, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to follow defined processes. You will be part of a team that covers everything from receiving incoming materials, routing parts to their appropriate next procedural step, storing, cycle counting, kitting, inventory management, and delivery to internal customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Accurately receive and record material into parts database. Inspect incoming material for physical damage.
- Address internal customer requests professionally and responsively. Interact cross-functionally with various departments. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve receiving discrepancies.
- Perform recycling and trash removal label material.
- Store material delivered to production labs when required.
- Prepare kits accurately and proactively according to schedule. Conduct kit audits with production teams.
- Prioritize daily work based on the production schedule.
- Perform ongoing cycle counts and inventory adjustments. Investigate inventory discrepancies to prevent reoccurrences.
- Identify, document, and label totes/containers/components.
- Verify, count, and recommend disposition of excess materials.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Demonstrate and apply company values in teamwork and collaboration.
