MMC Group is hiring for a Project Owner/Business Analyst for the State of Texas Health Department!

Contract: 2 months, possible extension
Start: 7/15
Shift: M-F 8AM-5PM CST
Pay: $112/hr

The client is looking for a project lead that will be responsible for performing complex IT project lead work for the EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) and MIS (Management Information Systems) platforms to transition from an EBT offline system to an EBT online system. This involves reducing the current dependencies on offline vendor functionality, procuring a new EBT online provider, developing an interface between the MIS and the EBT provider and further modernize functionality once the transition to an EBT online system is complete.

The project lead must be able to implement standard project management industry practices and understands the PMI framework as well as how to establish a project organization and methodology. They must be familiar with Project Delivery Framework and QAT reporting requirements for major Texas Information Resource projects. The successful candidate understands business and technical objectives and works closely with multiple key project business and technical stakeholders as well as third party Vendors.

• Ability to manage multiple overlapping projects.
• Ability to present information to various audiences, verbally and in writing, and to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively.

Requirements:

• 8 years of project management/ownership and/or business analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Federal/State project experience
• PMP certification preferred
