Our client, a leading global organization in the Automobile industry, is experiencing rapid growth and a robust digital transformation. With a significant focus on technical initiatives from business and senior leadership, they seek passionate team members to drive the growth and development of their application environment.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to play a key role in enhancing our software development and deployment procedures. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems. This is a direct hire position with a hybrid work schedule.

Your Role

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the infrastructure delivery process.
• Utilize industry-standard tools and best practices to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, making improvements and optimizations as needed.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to efficiently troubleshoot issues across the entire stack.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps team members.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, both onsite and remote.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in a Senior Cloud Engineer, DevOps or similar role.
• Proficient in Python or PowerShell scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• In-depth understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with a major cloud provider (AWS or Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
