Position Summary

The Senior Data Warehouse Engineer/Architect will play a pivotal role in the company's strategic shift to bring essential technical resources in-house. This role demands a highly experienced professional to lead the design, development, and maintenance of a robust enterprise data warehouse platform. This highly visible, direct hire position requires collaboration with key stakeholders and the ability to work on-site in Arlington Heights three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on design and development of cloud data warehousing initiatives.
• Collaborate with integration teams to design and optimize data integrations from multiple sources.
• Build and optimize data movement logic from SAP into Snowflake.
• Enhance data infrastructure, pipelines, and workflows for optimal system performance.
• Translate technical specifications into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Validate and develop tabular reports for business use.
• Perform quality checks, identify root causes of issues, and implement resolutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models and schemas for reporting.
• Make informed recommendations based on both business and technical needs.

Minimum Experience

• 10 years of experience in the data field.
• 4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse projects.
• 6 years of experience in SQL and ETL pipeline development.
• Experience with SAP ERP modules (OTC, Master Data, Warehouse Management, Transportation, Finance) is essential.
• Familiarity with AWS Glue, Python, or PySpark is a plus.
• Proven experience developing tabular reports in PowerBI or Tableau.
