MMD Services is Hiring a Senior Program Manager Near Addison, IL

Our client is a global organization, named one of the largest in the Automobile industry. They are rapidly growing and going through a robust digital transformation. The business and senior leadership have put a huge emphasis on technology initiatives and are looking for passionate team members to contribute to the growth and development of the technical environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. IT Program Manager with a strong background in managing both application & infrastrcuture projects and system integrations to join our client’s dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple IT projects focused on integrating various software systems, platforms, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and achieve strategic business goals. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure that all application projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans for application (upgrades, integrations, and implementations) initiatives, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead the execution of these plans, ensuring that projects meet their milestones and deliverables.
  • Work closely with technical teams to design and implement project solutions that align with business requirements and IT standards.
  • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of application technologies.
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, and external partners to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Manage budgets and ensure projects are meeting budget requirements
  • Gather and prioritize system and application requirements from stakeholders to inform integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to secure the necessary technologies and services for system integration projects.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all applications and system integrations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to identify and address integration issues before and after deployment.
  • Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure smooth transition and effective utilization of integrated systems.
  • Monitor the performance of integrated systems to identify opportunities for improvement. Stay informed of emerging technologies and integration best practices to recommend enhancements and innovations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a specific focus on applications upgrades, deployments, implementations, and system integrations.
  • Strong knowledge (not hands on) of integration technologies (e.g., APIs, ETL tools), platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, Workday), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
