Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning:** Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial evaluations. Develop personalized care plans based on findings, patient preferences, and evidence-based guidelines
- Medication Administration and Treatment:** Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and therapeutic effects. Educate patients on medication use, side effects, and self-care
- Clinical Documentation:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, progress notes, and care plans. Document patient responses to treatments and changes in condition, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborative Care Coordination:** Work with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care. Communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes
- Patient and Family Education:** Provide education on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies. Empower patients and address their concerns with empathy and compassion
- Quality Improvement Initiatives:** Participate in initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Contribute to the development of evidence-based protocols and guidelines
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an RN
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required depending on specialty)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
