Job Summary:This is an ideal position for candidates with 3-5 years of hands-on, high-tech law firm experience in the cybersecurity and privacy protection arena, including both transactional and enforcement experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel clients on a variety of data, privacy, and cybersecurity policy matters
- Handle data breach investigations, internal investigations, cyber-attacks, regulatory compliance, tech transactions, privacy policies, data theft, physical security, and ransomware attack negotiations
- Familiarity in COPPA, BIPA, GLBA, CCPA, GDPR, CPRA, and other federal and state regulations
- Superior academic and law firm credentials
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- CIPP/US certification preferred
- Admitted to Illinois bar
- The anticipated annual pay range for this position is $260,000 - $365,000, depending on geographic location, relevant experience, and skillset
