Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or disturbances
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and take orders accurately
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a POS system
- Strong multitasking skills to handle multiple drink orders simultaneously
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus
- Basic food preparation skills for garnishing drinks or preparing simple appetizers
Please note that previous experience as a bartender is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and enthusiasm for the role.
