Assignment Start Date: 4/22/2024
13 weeks | Days | 8- hour shift | 40 hours/week guaranteed The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed number of hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. The Physical Therapist I/II / Advanced Physical Therapist I/II position serves to provide quality physical therapy services to a predominately Native American population for the treatment or prevention of physical disability or disease. Responsible for management and implementation of Physical Therapy program; provision of physical therapy evaluation and treatment of inpatients (regular work week, and weekend rotation) and outpatients, ages ranging from birth through geriatric; provision of specialty services such as wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinic, geriatric clinic, high school clinic, functional clinic, spinal cord clinic, assistive technology/adaptive equipment evaluation/treatment, Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetic Orthotic Supply Program; assumes direction and development of the physical therapy section to include continuing quality improvement, risk management and safety, physical therapy policies, and procedures; Joint Commission preparation, staff education, reporting, staff meeting, and in-service, and other duties. Responsibilities also include those listed on the Medical Staff Credentialing Core Privileges form.

Experience/Education/QualificationExperience:
- Applicant must meet requirements to be credentialed to serve on the Medical Staff.
- All related information required for credentialing must be provided.
Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registration
- Must possess a valid, current, full, and unrestricted license in any state within the United States, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico during tenure of employment.
- Must have and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm

- ORIENTATION: Every two (2) weeks only.
- COVID EXEMPTIONS: We do not accept religious exemptions. If a candidate submits for a medical exemption, we will have to get approval from our medical review board to proceed with onboarding.
- HOUSING APPLICATION: must be submitted 2 weeks before start date - form uploaded in Medefis
