13 weeks | Nights | 12-hour shift | 36 hours/week guaranteed The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed number of hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details. Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures according to established protocols.
• Observe patients and report adverse reactions to medication or treatment
• Administers specified medications as allowed by policy and procedure, licensure, and State Practice Act.
• Responds in a safe and timely manner to patient requests and reports significant observations to the RN promptly.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the patient's plan of care and delivers care safely and within established standards and guidelines. Participates in planning for patient's care by providing input to the RN and under the direction of the RN, assists in implementing the patient care plan.
• Demonstrates knowledge of established hospital and nursing policies. Identifies emergencies, initiates nursing measures as appropriate within the scope of practice in emergencies, and seeks assistance and direction as necessary.
• Instruct patients in self-care according to the teaching plan and the directions of the RN. Documents this aspect of the patient's care.
• Participates in QA & I.

ExperienceEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

• Previous LPN experience preferred

Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registration

• Must have a current IL LPN license
• BLS/BCLS required

EMR System: EPIC Knowledge/experience preferred
Shift: 12 hours shifts Nights (7p-7:30a); require every third weekend & holiday
Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu.
