Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has openings for an RN - PCU. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Carbondale, IL, 62901
Assignment Start Date: 1/8/2024
13 weeks | Nights | 12-hour shift | 36 hours/week guaranteed The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed number of hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details. Nurses need to be competent in progressive levels of care. The group of patients we typically see have diagnoses involving: CHF, COPD, DM, Sepsis, and ACS. Nurses are expected to be comfortable with the following titratable medications: Cardizen, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Precedex, Insulin, and heparin. They should be capable of caring for stroke patients and be able to competently interpret cardiac telemetry. Our typical patient ratio is 4:1 with the assistance of a patient care technician.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
- Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
- Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
- Participate in continuing education.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registration
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS Card
- PALS
