- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
- OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
- Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
- Performs radiographic diagnostic/interventional special procedures by following and verifying referring provider’s orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policies and procedures.
- Educates patients and families regarding procedures and/or treatment to be performed.
- Produces high-quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
- Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and notify appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance.
- Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to radiation safety policies.
- Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice. This includes maintaining the confidentiality of all work information.
- Assures the efficient operation of the workflow of the department. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of service.
- Performs other related duties as required and directed.
- Successful completion of a Radiologic Technology program- Required
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist- Required
- One year related job experience- Required
- Need Cath lab and IR experience - Required
- References NOT required.
- A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
- Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review.
- Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
- Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
