Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights
Shift Notes: 7p-7a 36 hrs/week
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend /Holidays required if needed
On-Call Requirements: No Scheduled Calls (Call only when there is low census)
COVID Vaccination: n/aTravel Policy: Local travelers (those who reside within 50 miles of the facility) will not be considered for this need.
EMR: EPIC
Dress code: Traveler-provided professional scrubs (no logos)
Trauma Level: III
Patient population: Newborn-Geriatric, 26,000 visits per year
# of beds: 20, a newly renovated Emergency department with state-of-the-art monitors and communication devices.
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Non-Billable Orientation: 0
Multipliers (OT, Holiday, Call-Back): 1.25%
Call: 4.00
Charge: 3.00
WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY SCHEDULING ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS (Block Scheduling, etc). If your traveler cannot work the posted schedule please redirect them from this posting. Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance. - Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult life cycle, utilizing knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize the nursing process and functioning following the nursing philosophy, and objectives, the standards of care, and the standards of practice.
- Must be comfortable with drips and vents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively.
- The key to Emergency Medical Services is the relationship between the Emergency Department staff and the rescuers.
- Working as a team, our pre-hospital, emergency department and in-hospital personnel rely on each other completely. From first responder to ambulance crew to paramedic to emergency room staff to trauma surgeon, there is no separation in our efforts.
- 2 years of current ED experience (more experience = first consideration!) - Required
- Prior travel experience
- EPIC experience
- BSN - Preferred

- Work History
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS, PALS, and ACLS)
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- New Hampshire
- NH RN license or compact must be in hand at profile upload. The facility will not pend license
