Looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant to join the team. This position under minimal supervision, coordinates corporate close and consolidated financial statements. Maintains the corporate general ledger. This individual must also possess strong multi-tasking abilities and bring positivity and passion to their work. While some experience is preferred, we are very open to new grads looking to explore oncology care. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assists with general ledger maintenance including, but not necessarily limited to, preparing financial schedules, writing journal entries, and reviewing G/L coding on invoices.
Coordinates corporate close of all companies and ensures accurate monthly accruals.
Assists Regional Accounting Offices & Controllers to ensure accurate accounting for new practices including, but not necessarily limited to, opening balance sheets and adjustments to B/S and MSA.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of a variety of records and accounts to include, but not necessarily be limited to, balance sheet and supporting detail and fixed assets records including depreciation.
Maintains fixed asset system.
Assists in reviewing monthly Practice Reporting Packages for accuracy, reasonableness, and completeness.
Completes monthly consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
Provides analyses as requested.
May function as a lead for junior-level accounting staff.
a minimum of five years experience in public accounting or general industry accounting is required
Education
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business curriculum is required
Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registration
CPA or parts passed preferred.
